The global ProMinent Group is demonstrating at IFAT ENTSORGA 2010 that the company not only develops and manufactures metering pumps but rather the water treatment expert is underlining its expertise in components, systems and technologies for the treatment of drinking and waste water, as well as flue gas cleaning, in Hall A3, Booth 425/526. One of the particular highlights on the exhibition stand are the company's gravity disc filters.
Sludge disposal in waste water treatment plants accounts for over 30% of the plant’s total costs. ProMinent’s patented new process Prolysys uses ozone to dramatically improve the disintegration of excess sludge. Because there is less sludge to be disposed of, the associated costs are significantly reduced.
World premiere at the IFAT ENTSORGA: ProMinent is introducing its newly developed flow meter for the first time at the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. Its unique feature is that for the first time the flow-through of a non-continuous flow and the amount of liquid which has flowed through in a pulsing flow regime can be reliably and precisely determined and monitored. The ProMinent Group, a global supplier of water treatment solutions, is exhibiting at this year’s IFAT. The slogan "We control it" illustrates that ProMinent develops and manufactures more than "just" metering pumps.
A new work of art now graces the roundabout on the bypass in the Wieblingen district of Heidelberg. The sculpture, entitled “Infinity Curve”, a work by the internationally renowned artist Chen Wenqin, was funded by Heidelberg-based ProMinent to mark the company’s fiftieth anniversary.
ProMinent, the leading manufacturer of metering technology, is expanding its Korean production plant. The group has had a presence in Korea since 1991 with its own production and distribution company and now ProMinent is investing around 2.5 million euros in expansion. The official inauguration takes place on 12 March 2010.
